Tigray mothers share shocking accounts of dire famine conditions
And then there’s this … But who cares.
Who are the Seahawks playing this week, at what time?
Who is BYU playing this week, at what time?
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HUMANITY’S PRIORITIES?
Who cares, Christopher … Who are Alabama, Ohio, Clemson, and Utah playing this week, at what time?
The U.S. media shies away from reporting on all the places in this world where humans are suffering. Why?
Americans have hearts and are very compassionate people.
If the American people become aware of how much misery the rest of the world is experiencing … largely due to America’s failed intervention and foreign policy that precipitated (caused) this misery in certain areas of the world …
Americans will feel guilt and not go shopping. Thus, their guilt and concern will cut into the bottom line of the advertisers that sponsor and pay for the U.S. media.
That’s the best I could come up with to praise the core humanity of the American people, most of whom, if they were honest, are much more concerned about if their favorite sports team is going to win than they are about what is going on in other countries.
Sigh … Sigh … 😔
P.S. Don’t be THAT person who has thought more about who your favorite sports team is playing this weekend than the poverty existing in Afghanistan, Haiti, at the Southern U.S. border, Northeast Syria, Iraq, Tigray, Madagascar, Sudan, and so many other places!
AND WHY WOULDN’T EVERY ONE OF MY SO-CALLED SUPPORTERS/FRIENDS BE SHARING THIS POST PUBLICLY?!
NOTE TO MY SOCIAL MEDIA ATTENDERS:
Give this post 48 hrs, then “unfriend” every one of my “friends” who does not share this post publicly, along with ALL my words.
Do NOT delete those whose native tongue is not English.
Sigh … Sigh …
